1910 Fruitgum Co. was an American bubblegum pop band formed in 1965. The band was originally known as Jeckell and The Hydes, but changed their name to 1910 Fruitgum Co. in 1967. They were best known for their hit singles in the late 1960s, including "Simon Says" and "1, 2, 3, Red Light". These songs were characterized by their catchy melodies and upbeat, bubblegum pop sound.
The band's lineup consisted of Mark Gutkowski, Frank Jeckell, Floyd Marcus, Pat Karwan, and Steve Mortkowitz. 1910 Fruitgum Co. achieved commercial success with their singles and albums in the late 1960s, becoming a prominent act in the bubblegum pop genre.
