2Pac, also known as Tupac Shakur, was an American rapper and actor who is considered one of the most influential hip hop artists of all time. He was born on June 16, 1971, in East Harlem, New York City, and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. 2Pac began his music career as a roadie, backup dancer, and MC for the alternative hip hop group Digital Underground, before launching a successful solo career.
2Pac released his debut album, "2Pacalypse Now," in 1991, which addressed social issues such as police brutality and racism. He went on to release several critically acclaimed albums, including "Me Against the World" and "All Eyez on Me." In addition to his music career, 2Pac also ventured into acting, starring in films like "Juice" and "Poetic Justice." Tragically, 2Pac was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996, at the age of 25. Despite his untimely death, 2Pac's legacy continues to live on through his music and cultural impact.
