2Pac, born Tupac Amaru Shakur on June 16, 1971, was an influential American rapper and actor. He emerged as one of the most prominent figures in hip-hop during the 1990s. 2Pac's music often addressed social issues such as racism, violence, and hardship, reflecting his own personal experiences growing up in poverty. He released several critically acclaimed albums, including "2Pacalypse Now" (1991), "Me Against the World" (1995), and "All Eyez on Me" (1996), which is considered one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time.
In addition to his music career, 2Pac also pursued acting, appearing in films such as "Juice" (1992), "Poetic Justice" (1993), and "Above the Rim" (1994). Tragically, 2Pac was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996, at the age of 25.
