4 By Four was a British pop group formed in the mid-1990s. The group consisted of members Steven Crosby, Shane Lynch, Jimmy O'Rourke, and Ben Ofoedu. They released their debut single "Don't Let Me Down" in 1996, which reached number 9 on the UK Singles Chart. The group followed this up with their second single "Come Over" in the same year.

Despite their initial success, 4 By Four disbanded shortly after their second single. The members went on to pursue various other projects in the music industry, with Shane Lynch notably joining the Irish boyband Boyzone. While their time together as a group was short-lived, 4 By Four left a mark on the British pop music scene in the 1990s with their catchy tunes and energetic performances.
