5 Seconds of Summer, also known as 5SOS, is an Australian pop-rock band formed in 2011 in Sydney. The group consists of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin. Initially gaining popularity through covers posted on YouTube, 5 Seconds of Summer rose to fame with their debut single "She Looks So Perfect" in 2014.

Their music often explores themes of young love, heartbreak, and coming of age.
