5 Seconds of Summer, also known as 5SOS, is an Australian pop-rock band formed in Sydney in 2011. The group consists of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin, who gained international recognition through their covers of popular songs on YouTube. They rose to fame when they were discovered by One Direction's Louis Tomlinson and invited to join the Take Me Home Tour in 2013, quickly amassing a loyal fan base known as the "5SOSFam."
5 Seconds of Summer released their debut self-titled album in 2014, featuring hits like "She Looks So Perfect" and "Amnesia."
