Artist Bio:
5000 Volts was a British disco group formed in 1975. The group was fronted by Tina Charles, a singer who had previously achieved success with hits like "I Love to Love (But My Baby Loves to Dance)." 5000 Volts' most well-known song is "I'm on Fire," which was released in 1975 and became a hit in the UK, reaching the Top 5 on the singles chart. The group's self-titled debut album was released the same year and featured a mix of disco and pop tracks.

Despite their initial success, 5000 Volts disbanded in the late 1970s. Tina Charles continued her music career as a solo artist and had further chart success with songs like "Dance Little Lady Dance." 5000 Volts' music has since been featured on various compilation albums, keeping their disco legacy alive for fans of the genre.
