7 Mile was an American R&B group formed in the late 1990s. The group consisted of members Dante "Chi" Thomas, Jaz, Glynis "Glynis John" Martin, and Seantezz. They released their self-titled debut album "7 Mile" in 1998 under the guidance of producer Michael Bivins of New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe fame. The album featured the hit single "Do Your Thing," which peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Despite the moderate success of their debut album, 7 Mile disbanded shortly after its release. The group members pursued individual music careers after the split. Their brief time in the music industry left a mark on R&B fans, and their music continues to be enjoyed by those who appreciate the smooth harmonies and soulful sound that characterized their style.
