95 South is a Miami-based hip-hop duo consisting of Mike Mike and Daddy Black. They are best known for their hit single "Whoot, There It Is," which was released in 1993. The song became a commercial success, reaching number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and achieving platinum status. "Whoot, There It Is" is considered a classic party anthem and has been featured in various movies, TV shows, and commercials over the years.
In addition to their music career, 95 South also founded their own record label called Quad City Records. They have released several albums, including "Quad City Knock" and "One Mo' 'Gen."
