Artist Bio:
a-ha is a Norwegian band formed in 1982, consisting of members Morten Harket (vocals), Magne Furuholmen (keyboards, guitar), and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (guitar). They gained international fame with their debut single "Take On Me" in 1985, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and topped the charts in multiple countries. The accompanying music video, featuring a blend of live-action and animation, received widespread acclaim and won several awards.

Throughout their career, a-ha has released ten studio albums and sold over 100 million records worldwide. They are known for their distinctive synth-pop sound, characterized by catchy melodies and Harket's distinctive falsetto vocals. In addition to "Take On Me," some of their other popular songs include "The Sun Always Shines on TV," "Hunting High and Low," and "Cry Wolf." Despite disbanding in 2010, a-ha reunited in 2015 and continues to perform and release new music, showcasing their enduring influence on the music industry.
