a-ha is a Norwegian band formed in 1982, consisting of members Morten Harket (vocals), Magne Furuholmen (keyboard), and Pål Waaktaar (guitar). They rose to fame with their debut single "Take on Me," which topped the charts in multiple countries and became a signature song of the 1980s. The accompanying music video, featuring a mix of live-action and animation, won six MTV Video Music Awards and is considered iconic in the music industry.
