Artist Bio:
A Tribe Called Quest is an American hip hop group formed in 1985 in Queens, New York City. The group is composed of members Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White. Known for their unique jazz-influenced sound, socially conscious lyrics, and innovative production techniques, A Tribe Called Quest is considered one of the most influential and groundbreaking hip hop acts of all time.


The group released several critically acclaimed albums throughout the 1990s, including "The Low End Theory" and "Midnight Marauders," which are regarded as classic hip hop records. A Tribe Called Quest disbanded in 1998 but reunited in 2006 for a series of live performances and eventually released their final album, "We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service," in 2016. The group's legacy continues to influence generations of hip hop artists with their progressive and boundary-pushing approach to music.
