She gained fame in the mid-1990s with her R&B and pop music and is often referred to as the "Princess of R&B." Aaliyah released three successful studio albums during her career: "Age Ain't Nothing but a Number" (1994), "One in a Million" (1996), and a self-titled album "Aaliyah" (2001).

Aaliyah's music style was known for its innovative fusion of R&B, pop, and hip-hop, and her smooth vocals and sultry performances earned her critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base.
