Artist Bio:
A.B. Skhy was an American blues-rock band formed in 1968 in California. The band's name is a play on the phrase "A.B. Sky", with "A.B." representing the initials of the band's founder and leader, Howard Wales. The group's lineup included Howard Wales on keyboards, Jim Marcotte on bass, Chuck Day on drums, and Terry Anderson on vocals.
A.B. Skhy released two albums during their active years, "Ramblin' On" in 1969 and "A.B. Skhy" in 1970. The band was known for their energetic live performances and their fusion of blues, rock, and jazz influences. Despite receiving critical acclaim for their music, A.B. Skhy did not achieve mainstream commercial success and disbanded in the early 1970s.
