Artist Bio:
ABBA was a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by members Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The name "ABBA" is an acronym of the first letters of each member's first name. The group became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of pop music, with hits such as "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," and "Take a Chance on Me."

ABBA's music is known for its catchy melodies, harmonies, and polished production. The group won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with the song "Waterloo," launching their international career. ABBA's popularity continued to soar throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, selling over 150 million records worldwide. Despite disbanding in 1982, ABBA's music remains popular, and the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
