Artist Bio:
ABBA was a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by members Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The group's name is an acronym of the first letters of each member's first name. ABBA achieved global success with their catchy pop songs and distinctive harmonies, becoming one of the best-selling music artists in history. They are best known for hits such as "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," and "Take a Chance on Me."

ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with the song "Waterloo," which launched their international career. They continued to top the charts throughout the 1970s and early 1980s before disbanding in 1982. Despite their breakup, ABBA's music has remained popular and has been the basis for the hit musical and film "Mamma Mia!" In 2018, the group announced that they had recorded new music for the first time in over 35 years, delighting fans around the world.
