Artist Bio:
ABBA was a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The band's name is an acronym of the first letters of their first names. ABBA became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of popular music, topping the charts worldwide from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. They are best known for hits such as "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," "Waterloo," and "Take a Chance on Me."

ABBA's music was characterized by catchy melodies, harmonies, and a blend of pop, disco, and glam rock elements. The group won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with the song "Waterloo" and went on to sell over 150 million records worldwide. Despite disbanding in 1982, ABBA's music has endured over the decades and they continue to be celebrated for their contributions to pop music.
