Artist Bio:
ABBA is a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The name "ABBA" is an acronym of the first letters of their first names. They became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of popular music, topping the charts worldwide from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. ABBA's music is characterized by catchy melodies, harmonies, and a blend of pop, disco, and glam rock elements.

Some of ABBA's most famous hits include "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," "Waterloo," and "Take a Chance on Me." The group won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with their song "Waterloo," which helped launch their international career. ABBA's music continues to be popular today, with their songs being featured in movies, musicals, and tribute bands around the world. Despite breaking up in 1982, ABBA's music legacy lives on, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
