Artist Bio:
ABBA was a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by members Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The band's name is an acronym of the first letters of their first names. ABBA gained international fame with their catchy pop songs and elaborate costumes, becoming one of the most commercially successful and iconic pop acts of the 1970s and 1980s.

Some of ABBA's most famous hits include "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," "Take a Chance on Me," and "Waterloo." They won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with "Waterloo," which helped launch their global success. ABBA's music has continued to be popular over the years, and they have sold over 150 million records worldwide. Despite disbanding in 1982, ABBA's music has lived on through various compilations, tribute bands, and the hugely successful stage musical and film "Mamma Mia!"
