After 7 is an American R&B group that was formed in 1988 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds, along with their friend Keith Mitchell. The group gained popularity in the early 1990s with hits such as "Ready or Not," "Can't Stop," and "Heat of the Moment." After 7's music is known for its smooth harmonies, soulful vocals, and romantic lyrics, which have made them a favorite among R&B fans.

After 7 released their self-titled debut album in 1989, which was well-received by both critics and audiences. The group went on to release several more albums over the years, including "Takin' My Time" and "Reflections." After a brief hiatus, the group made a comeback in 2016 with the release of their album "Timeless," which featured new music as well as re-recorded versions of some of their classic hits.
