Al B. Sure! is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer who rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Born Albert Joseph Brown III on June 4, 1968, in Boston, Massachusetts, he adopted the stage name Al B. Sure! as a play on the phrase "I'll be sure." He is best known for his hit singles "Nite and Day" and "Off on Your Own (Girl)", which helped him establish himself as a prominent R&B artist.
Al B. Sure! released his debut album "In Effect Mode" in 1988, which was a commercial success and earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with other artists, including Quincy Jones and Diana Ross. In addition to his music career, Al B. Sure! has also dabbled in acting and hosting radio shows.
