He is best known for his soulful and distinctive voice, as well as his contributions to the genre of soul music. Green began his music career in the late 1960s and gained fame in the 1970s with hit songs such as "Let's Stay Together," "Tired of Being Alone," and "I'm Still in Love with You."


Throughout his career, Al Green has won multiple Grammy Awards and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the greatest soul singers of all time and has influenced many artists across different genres. In addition to his music, Green is also a ordained pastor and has released several gospel albums.
