Al Martino was an American singer and actor, born on October 7, 1927, and passed away on October 13, 2009. He was best known for his hit songs such as "Here in My Heart," which was his debut single and reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in 1952. Martino also had success with other songs like "Spanish Eyes" and "Can't Help Falling in Love."

In addition to his music career, Martino also had a successful acting career, appearing in films such as "The Godfather" where he played the role of Johnny Fontane. He received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in the film. Throughout his career, Martino released over 30 studio albums and continued to perform and record music until his passing.
