Artist Bio:
Alabama is a country music band formed in Fort Payne, Alabama in 1969. The band's original members were Randy Owen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Teddy Gentry (bass, backing vocals), and Jeff Cook (lead guitar, fiddle, keyboards). They were later joined by Mark Herndon on drums. Alabama is known for their blend of country, rock, and pop music, and they became one of the most successful bands in country music history.


Alabama has released numerous hit songs and albums, including "Mountain Music," "Song of the South," and "If You're Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band)." They have won multiple Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and Country Music Association Awards throughout their career. Alabama is also a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame. The band has sold over 75 million records worldwide and continues to tour and perform for their dedicated fan base.
