Aldo Nova is a Canadian rock musician, producer, and songwriter who gained popularity in the 1980s. He was born Aldo Caporuscio on November 13, 1956, in Montreal, Quebec. Nova is best known for his self-titled debut album, "Aldo Nova," released in 1982. The album featured the hit singles "Fantasy" and "Foolin' Yourself," which helped establish Nova as a successful solo artist.


In addition to his solo career, Aldo Nova has worked as a songwriter and producer for other artists, including Celine Dion. He has also collaborated with renowned artists such as Jon Bon Jovi, where he contributed to the songwriting on Bon Jovi's self-titled debut album. Despite not achieving the same level of commercial success as his debut album, Aldo Nova continues to be active in the music industry, releasing new music and occasionally performing live.
