Alice Cooper, born Vincent Damon Furnier on February 4, 1948, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor known for pioneering the shock rock genre. He is best known for his theatrical live performances that often include elaborate stage props and costumes, as well as his dark and macabre lyrics. Cooper gained fame in the 1970s with hits like "School's Out," "No More Mr. Nice Guy," and "Poison."
Aside from his successful music career, Cooper has also dabbled in acting, appearing in films such as "Wayne's World" and "Dark Shadows." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011 and continues to tour and release music to this day, remaining a prominent figure in the rock music scene.
