Cooper first gained fame in the late 1960s as the lead singer of the band Alice Cooper. The band's theatrical live shows and provocative lyrics made them a prominent figure in the glam rock scene.
In the early 1970s, Cooper embarked on a solo career and adopted the band's name as his own. He achieved commercial success with albums like "Welcome to My Nightmare" and "Trash." Cooper is known for his distinctive raspy voice, elaborate stage shows featuring guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, and snakes, as well as his dark and macabre lyrical themes. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and continues to tour and release music to this day.
