She is best known for her disco hit single "I Love the Nightlife" released in 1978, which reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song also earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Bridges released her self-titled debut album in 1978, which featured "I Love the Nightlife" as the lead single.
