Alicia Keys is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer who was born on January 25, 1981, in New York City. She burst onto the music scene in 2001 with her debut album "Songs in A Minor," which won five Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for "Fallin'." Keys has since released several successful albums, such as "The Diary of Alicia Keys," "As I Am," and "Girl on Fire," earning numerous awards and accolades throughout her career.
In addition to her music career, Alicia Keys is known for her activism and philanthropy work. She is a co-founder of Keep a Child Alive, a nonprofit organization that provides treatment and support to children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.
