Artist Bio:
Alive 'N Kickin' is a pop/rock band that was formed in Brooklyn, New York in the late 1960s. The band gained popularity in the early 1970s with their hit song "Tighter, Tighter," which reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1970. The song was written by Tommy James and Bob King, and it became the band's biggest success, earning them a gold record.

After the success of "Tighter, Tighter," Alive 'N Kickin' released several more singles, including "Just Let It Come" and "London Bridge," but none achieved the same level of success. The band eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, Alive 'N Kickin' remains a notable part of the pop/rock music scene of the early 1970s, and "Tighter, Tighter" continues to be a popular oldies radio staple.
