Artist Bio:
Alton McClain & Destiny was an American disco and R&B group formed in Los Angeles in the late 1970s. The group consisted of lead singer Alton McClain, along with two backup singers, and they were backed by a band called Carrara. They were signed to Polydor Records and released their self-titled debut album in 1979. The album featured their biggest hit, "It Must Be Love," which reached number 4 on the Billboard R&B chart.


After their debut album, Alton McClain & Destiny released a few more singles, including "Crazy Love" and "Making Room for Love," before disbanding in the early 1980s. Despite their short-lived career, the group left a lasting impact on the disco and R&B music scene of the late 1970s. Their music continues to be celebrated by fans of the genre, and their songs are still played on disco and R&B radio stations around the world.
