Gold released several solo albums throughout his career, with his most successful single being "Lonely Boy" from his 1977 album "What's Wrong With This Picture?". The song reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In addition to his solo work, Andrew Gold was a highly sought-after session musician, collaborating with artists such as Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, and Carly Simon.
