He rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s with hits like "Moon River," "Can't Get Used to Losing You," and "Love Story." Williams had a smooth vocal style that made him a popular artist in the easy listening and vocal pop genres. He also hosted a popular television variety show, "The Andy Williams Show," from 1962 to 1971, which helped solidify his status as a household name.


Throughout his career, Williams received numerous accolades, including 18 gold and three platinum-certified albums. He also won several Grammy Awards for his music. Williams continued to perform and record music well into the 21st century before passing away on September 25, 2012, at the age of 84.
