Artist Bio:
Anne Murray is a Canadian singer who achieved international fame in the 1970s and 1980s. She was born on June 20, 1945, in Springhill, Nova Scotia, Canada. Murray's music spans various genres including country, pop, and adult contemporary, and she is known for her clear, expressive voice and emotional delivery. She has released over 30 studio albums and has sold more than 55 million records worldwide.


Murray has won numerous awards throughout her career, including four Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, and 24 Juno Awards (the most of any artist in Canadian history). Some of her most popular songs include "Snowbird," "You Needed Me," and "Could I Have This Dance." Anne Murray was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2011.
