Anne Murray is a Canadian singer known for her soprano voice and country pop music style. She has had a successful career spanning over four decades and has sold over 55 million albums worldwide. Murray has received numerous awards and accolades, including four Grammy Awards, 24 Juno Awards, and three American Music Awards.


Murray is also the first Canadian female solo artist to reach No. 1 on the U.S. charts and the first to earn a gold record for her signature song, "Snowbird." She has released multiple hit singles such as "You Needed Me," "Could I Have This Dance," and "Danny's Song." Murray was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2011, solidifying her status as one of the most successful and influential Canadian artists in music history.
