Artist Bio:
Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer, songwriter, and political activist who rose to fame in the 1980s as the lead singer of the duo Eurythmics, known for hits like "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Here Comes the Rain Again." Lennox embarked on a successful solo career in the 1990s, releasing critically acclaimed albums such as "Diva" and "Medusa." She has won numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Into the West" from "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King."


In addition to her music career, Lennox is a prominent humanitarian and activist, particularly focusing on issues related to HIV/AIDS, women's rights, and children's welfare. She co-founded The SING Campaign to raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS education and prevention in Africa. Lennox was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2011 for her tireless charity work.
