Anthony & The Imperials is an American doo-wop and R&B vocal group that was formed in New York City in the late 1950s. The group originally consisted of Anthony Gourdine (known as "Little Anthony"), Clarence Collins, Ernest Wright, and Tracy Lord. They are best known for hits such as "Tears on My Pillow," "Hurt So Bad," and "Goin' Out of My Head." Little Anthony's powerful and soulful falsetto vocals became a signature of the group's sound.


The Imperials were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. They have influenced many artists and have been praised for their tight harmonies and emotional delivery. The group continues to perform and tour, showcasing their timeless music to audiences around the world.
