The group's original members were Anthony Gourdine, Clarence Collins, Ernest Wright, and Glouster "Nate" Rogers. They are best known for their hits in the 1960s, including "Tears on My Pillow" and "Hurt So Bad." Anthony & The Imperials were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
