Artist Bio:
Apollonia 6 was a female singing trio formed in 1983 by Prince as a part of his creative collective, The Time. The group consisted of lead singer Apollonia Kotero, Brenda Bennett, and Susan Moonsie. Their music style was a mix of pop, R&B, and funk, and they were known for their provocative lyrics and stage performances. Apollonia 6 released their self-titled debut album in 1984, which included hits like "Sex Shooter" and "Blue Limousine".

The group gained popularity due to their association with Prince and their appearance in the film "Purple Rain," where they portrayed the girl group of the same name. Despite their initial success, Apollonia 6 disbanded in 1985 after releasing only one album. Apollonia Kotero continued to pursue a solo career in music and acting after the group's breakup.
