April Wine is a Canadian rock band formed in 1969 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band's original members were Myles Goodwyn (vocals, guitar), Jim Henman (bass), David Henman (guitar), and Ritchie Henman (drums). Over the years, the band's lineup has changed multiple times, with Myles Goodwyn being the only consistent member.
April Wine achieved international success in the 1970s and 1980s with hits such as "Just Between You and Me," "Roller," and "Sign of the Gypsy Queen." They have released over 20 studio albums and have won multiple Juno Awards, including Group of the Year in 1976 and 1978. April Wine is known for their energetic live performances and their blend of hard rock and power ballads. They continue to tour and perform to this day, with Myles Goodwyn leading the band.
