April Wine is a Canadian rock band formed in 1969 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band's original members were Myles Goodwyn (vocals, guitar), Jim Henman (bass), David Henman (guitar), and Ritchie Henman (drums). They achieved international success in the 1970s and 1980s with hits such as "You Could Have Been a Lady", "Just Between You and Me", and "Roller". April Wine's music is characterized by a mix of hard rock, progressive rock, and blues influences.
Throughout their career, April Wine released over 20 studio albums and several live albums. They were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2010. Despite various lineup changes over the years, Myles Goodwyn has remained the constant member and driving force behind the band. April Wine continues to perform live and has maintained a dedicated fan base, particularly in Canada.
