April Wine is a Canadian rock band formed in 1969 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band's initial lineup consisted of Myles Goodwyn (vocals, guitar), David Henman (guitar), Ritchie Henman (drums), and Jim Henman (bass). Over the years, the band underwent several lineup changes, with Goodwyn being the only consistent member.
April Wine achieved commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with hit songs such as "You Could Have Been a Lady," "Just Between You and Me," and "Roller." They released over 20 albums and were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2010. April Wine is known for their high-energy live performances and their blend of hard rock, blues, and progressive rock influences. Their music continues to be celebrated by fans of classic rock around the world.
