The band's original members included lead vocalist and guitarist Myles Goodwyn, guitarist David Henman, bassist Ritchie Henman, and drummer Ritchie Henman. Over the years, the band's lineup has changed multiple times, with Myles Goodwyn being the only constant member. April Wine achieved significant commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with hits like "You Could Have Been a Lady," "Just Between You and Me," and "Sign of the Gypsy Queen."
The band has released over 20 studio albums and has won several Juno Awards in Canada. April Wine is known for their high-energy live performances and their ability to blend hard rock with elements of blues and pop.
