Artist Bio:
Arcadia is a musical project that was formed in 1985 by three members of the popular British band Duran Duran: Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor. The group's sound was a departure from Duran Duran's new wave and pop rock style, leaning more towards a lush, atmospheric sound with a touch of art rock. Arcadia released their debut album, "So Red the Rose," in 1985, which was well-received by critics and fans alike.
The album spawned several hit singles, including "Election Day" and "Goodbye Is Forever." Arcadia's music videos also featured avant-garde visuals and storytelling, adding to the mystique of the band. Despite the success of their debut album, Arcadia was short-lived, with the members returning to Duran Duran shortly after. However, their brief time together left a lasting impact on the music scene of the 1980s.
