Artist Bio:
Art Garfunkel is an American singer, poet, and actor best known for being one half of the folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, alongside Paul Simon. Born on November 5, 1941, in Queens, New York, Garfunkel's pure tenor voice and harmonizing skills contributed to the duo's success in the 1960s. Simon & Garfunkel released several hit songs, including "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Mrs. Robinson," and "The Sound of Silence."


Outside of his work with Simon, Garfunkel has also released solo albums and has pursued a career in acting, appearing in films such as "Catch-22" and "Carnal Knowledge." He has won several Grammy Awards as part of Simon & Garfunkel and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Garfunkel continues to perform as a solo artist and collaborate with other musicians.
