Art of Noise was a British avant-garde synth-pop group formed in 1983. They were known for their innovative use of sampling and electronic sounds in their music. In 1986, they collaborated with Max Headroom, a fictional artificial intelligence character and the world's first computer-generated TV host, for the single "Paranoimia." Max Headroom provided vocals for the track, which was a commercial success and reached the top 40 in the UK and the US.
The collaboration between Art of Noise and Max Headroom was a unique blend of electronic music and futuristic aesthetics, capturing the essence of the 1980s. The partnership helped bring Max Headroom into the mainstream and showcased Art of Noise's experimental approach to music production.
