Artist Bio:
A*Teens was a Swedish pop music group formed in 1998. The group consisted of four members: Marie Serneholt, Amit Sebastian Paul, Dhani Lennevald, and Sara Lumholdt. They gained popularity for their bubblegum pop sound and their dance-friendly covers of popular songs, particularly those by the pop group ABBA. A*Teens released their debut album, "The ABBA Generation," in 1999, which included covers of ABBA's hits such as "Mamma Mia" and "Dancing Queen." The album was a commercial success, reaching the top 10 in various countries around the world.
Following the success of "The ABBA Generation," A*Teens released several more albums, including "Teen Spirit" and "New Arrival." They toured extensively and gained a dedicated fan base, particularly among teenagers. The group disbanded in 2004 after releasing their final album, "Greatest Hits." Despite their relatively short-lived career, A*Teens left a lasting impact on the pop music scene of the early 2000s.
