Atlanta Rhythm Section is an American southern rock band formed in Doraville, Georgia in 1971. The band's original members included Rodney Justo on vocals, Barry Bailey on guitar, Paul Goddard on bass, Dean Daughtry on keyboards, Robert Nix on drums, and J.R. Cobb on guitar. They achieved commercial success in the 1970s with hits like "So Into You," "Imaginary Lover," and "Champagne Jam."


Atlanta Rhythm Section's music is characterized by a blend of rock, country, and rhythm and blues influences.
