Atlanta Rhythm Section (ARS) is an American southern rock band formed in Doraville, Georgia in 1970. The band's original lineup consisted of Rodney Justo (vocals), Barry Bailey (guitar), Paul Goddard (bass), Dean Daughtry (keyboards), Robert Nix (drums), and J.R. Cobb (guitar). They gained popularity in the 1970s with hits like "So Into You" and "Imaginary Lover."


Throughout their career, Atlanta Rhythm Section released numerous albums and singles that showcased their signature blend of rock, pop, and country influences. The band went through several lineup changes over the years, but they continued to perform and record music well into the 2000s.
