Artist Bio:
Audioslave was an American rock supergroup formed in 2001, consisting of members from two prominent bands: Soundgarden's lead vocalist Chris Cornell and Rage Against the Machine's instrumentalists Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk. The band released three studio albums between 2002 and 2006, including their self-titled debut album "Audioslave," which reached triple platinum status. Their music was characterized by a blend of alternative rock, hard rock, and heavy metal, with politically charged lyrics and powerful vocals from Cornell. Audioslave's hit singles include "Cochise," "Like a Stone," and "Be Yourself."

Despite their commercial success and critical acclaim, Audioslave disbanded in 2007 due to creative differences among the members. Chris Cornell's tragic death in 2017 further solidified the end of the band. Audioslave's music continues to be celebrated by fans of both Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine for its unique sound and impactful message.
